![]() It has absolutely nothing to do with preferring a faction, as having a favorite isn't proof against something getting stale. You have every right to prefer new content but trying to imply that people are just being affected by nostalgia is farcical, if you spend more then a second thinking about what Immortal Empires would bring to the table that's obviously incorrect. The gameplay benefits of moving to each combined map are innumerable. Same no doubt with the diplomatic changes and new siege battles in 3. ![]() And that's not even getting into how gameplay improvements from each game are backported over, I can't imagine going back to Warhammer 1 now that I have 2's Empire. The possible combinations of fights are practically limitless. ![]() Previously that meant Warhammer 1 races fighting 2's but now it means Warhammer 1 races vs 2 vs 3. It's a perfectly legitimate reason to want Immortal Empires to release as soon as possible.įurthermore this ignores that half the fun of Mortal Empires is that you get to mash older factions against newer ones. That's not unreasonable or somehow fallacious, it's just people choosing to like one faction over others. That's just basic personal preferences, if someone likes the Empire above all other factions then they may very well find things to enjoy in Warhammer 3 but they'll still want to play the faction they like. What? it's not nostalgia to prefer a specific faction my dude.
